Deposit charge policy

At Hurst Dental Practice it is our aim to provide quality dental care to you and to use clinical time effectively.

From April 2019, we will require a deposit for any treatment scheduled for more than 30 minutes. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask that you kindly notify us giving at least 48 hours, so that another patient may be offered this appointment. There will not be a cancellation charge in this circumstance.

Your co-operation and help in this matter are very much appreciated. Some of our dental professional’s work on a self-employed basis and it has an impact on their earnings.

We regret that there will be a fee chargeable for missed, cancelled or rescheduled appointments within 48 hours. (except cancellations due to unavoidable OR exceptional circumstances such as ill health. Cancellations should be made by calling 01273 832209. However, we reserve the right to retain your deposit in case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice).

We will always try to be sensitive to personal circumstances in the event of late cancellations.
